wow yeah that is the only place I could see it fetching that kind of cake. I am somewhat bound to not sell the Invicta as it is a present from my girlfriends dad, but good to see value of something somewhat similar. Kind of a cool flat black wagon that was, looks solid enough. I can't wait to be rolling around in a goddamn metallic pink wagon, though I want to put the 401 away and put a Cummins in it or something so I can actually drive it around and put gas in the tank in the summer

I had a Fiesta for exactly 6112 miles. It grenaded. When I brought it into the shop at the dealership, they asked which wrecker service brought it in. I said I drove it. They said that was impossible because the transmission only had 1 gear left at the end of it. Not sure how I made it. Just glad I did. Never again.

I've got Tungsten Silver Metallic. It's a slightly dark silver when overcast and it looks like the above in direct sunlight. I need a colour that hides dirt as I live on a gravel road and this fits the bill.
The 1.8t is probably the main reason I chose this car. It's got great torque and pulls strongly in the midrange. I'm also averaging 35-40MPG so that's a nice bonus as well. Best powertrain in the class IMO.
I've only got the 15" wheels (the base level Trendline + cruise control with the multifunction wheel is all I need), which look a bit dinky but they'll receive winter tires soon and serve that purpose for the rest of the car's time with me. I'm looking to pick up some 17" BBS SRs for my summer wheels.

My mileage depends on my enthusiasm as well, I live rurally though and drive mostly highway as a result so the excellent mileage is expected and appreciated.
Great photo. Your colour has a hint of blue in it in that light as well, very nice. I love the wheels the GTI comes with, they fit the sharpened styling of the Mk7 very well. Maybe I should get a set of those for my summer wheels, it seems a fair number of GTI owners switch them for something different as there's quite a few sets on the classifieds already.
